Fall semester at Blinn
My Blinn Fall semester of 2017 was great it was everything I
thought it was going to be. The things that went well is that most of my
instructors were pretty nice I also had friends to show me around and get to
know Blinn. What didn’t go well is
that I dropped a class because I was too stressed I had two jobs and full time
at blinn! I succeeded in my math class because I love math its just so easy for
me I also loved that I had so much free time I have to be in one class for so
long. I failed in my art history class. That was the class I dropped. You might
think how could she drop that class if art is easy? Well not for me I hate it
and I strongly dislike history too so once you put those two together it’s a
disaster. I know I could have probably done better and actually tried and
passed but I didn’t so that didn’t go so well. I loved that most of my teachers
they were pretty lineant with homework. Sometimes having to many classes and
work at the same time might be too much and I loved that some teachers understood
and could extend the timewith homework. There was a couple of things I hated
one thing I hated was having to do homework. A little homework was fine but too
much homework I couldn’t handle. The second thing I hate was that we couldn’t
miss more than 4 days if not we got dropped. They could prolly extend that too
like 6 is fair enough. My performance this semester will improve my performance
next semester by just taking it day by day and paying attention to everything
also preparing for pop quizzes because you ever know when were going to have
them. What I will do different in the future is I will defenitly go through my
syllabus daily. I will turn in all my homework on time, I will try to make it
to every class hoping I don’t get sick, I will look over my work before each
class just to refresh my memory and I will also study for my quizzes. For it
being my first semester in college it wasn’t that bad I know I could have done
way better if I just tried a little more but im saving that for next semester.
I understand how you feel. Being a full time student and working can be a bit overwhelming.
ReplyDeletehaving to work full time and being a full time student sucks, but there's a way to do everything.
ReplyDeleteI would have to agree with you, it is a little hard not to miss class especially when you are sick but everything will work out at the end.
ReplyDeleteI totally understand how it feels I have been overwelmed and have thought about dropping classes but I am working with some of my professor to try to up my grade. Like you I have a full time job and its hard to do homework and work .Don't give up and keep on pushing in the long run its all going to work out
